footballgringo will internationalize the brazilian football business and culture
FootballGringo was founded by having personally experienced a language barrier as a football fanatic visiting Brazil. Finding English content was difficult, websites of football clubs in other languages did not exist and purchasing a match ticket was challenging without CPF. It was discouraging as foreigner to learn about Brazilian football. it concluded that the Brazilian football market is missing out on a great amount of global engagement, business development and revenue.
How IS THIS POSSIBLE in a nation with the richest football history, complemented by a CHARACTERISTIC style of play and thousands of professional football players that ensure Brazil is the purveyor of talent in Europe. While searching for solutions, FootballGringo was established with the urge of creating an innovative and more inclusive environment for Brazilian football.
This is the first project of FootballGringo and stands for visiting the 12 football clubs in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte that compete in the Campeonato Brasileiro. The aim is to introduce the football clubs and fans to the new international football platform. In the process, business and cultural services are offered to internationalize and modernize the Brazilian football market, focusing on collaborating with Brazilian sports organizations and professionals. The business page details what services FootballGringo offers to the Brazilian football market and what demands and problems it solves.
Starting in August, the possibilities and potential of the project will be explored with all stakeholders. The main aspects are strengthening relations with the global football world, eliminating the language barrier and developing a progressive way of managing. For each football club, the project concentrates on three main areas: the club, the fans and match day. Besides creating professional content and operating as an intermediary between Brazilian and foreign sports organisations, the project provides an opportunity for potential partners and fans from all over the world to connect with Brazilian football.
The Tour of 12 starts in São Paulo with a stop in Belo Horizonte after which Rio de Janeiro will be the final destination in December, when the football season in Brazil ends as well. The calendar specifies which fixtures FootballGringo attempts to visit. The duration of the visit per club can be different depending on the cooperations, circumstances and opportunities that occur.
